The role of nurserymen
in the production
of high-quality fruit.
Polish Nurserymen Association
was established in 1992 and at that time it had 17 nurseries. As of today, there are 47 nurseries. We are the only nationwide organization associating producers of orchard nursery material.
We have been supplying our customers with the highest quality nursery material for 30 years. We have introduced a number of new varieties to Polish fruit-growing practice.
The total number of trees produced in nurseries belonging to our members reaches 12 million.

We have spread the production of virus-free trees, which has become a common practice.
We work closely with the OEMS (Center of Elite Nursery Material) of the Institute of Pomology in Skierniewice - one of the few centers in Europe that produces elite, virus-free propagating material, intended for the establishment of rootstock nurseries. Our production is under constant supervision of the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection. The nurseries are constantly inspected for the presence of diseases and pests in the course of production. Each batch of material exported outside the European Union is inspected by inspectors of the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection.
The basis of production are annual and biennial knip-boom apple trees. Our offer also includes pear, cherry, sweet cherry, plum trees and fruit bushes. These trees are certified in accordance with European standards.
We produce trees of popular and sought-after varieties. We acquire new licenses and look for promising varietal novelties all over the world. We also promote varieties that are the result of our native selection.
